Volunteer at the Kahului Distribution Center at the Old Safeway

Open: Monday-Saturday 8am-3pm

Looking for Volunteers!

As we continue our relief efforts, the Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement (CNHA) and Kako'o Maui are seeking volunteers at the distribution center to work various shifts.

Below are some areas in need of assistance:    

•    Inventory - Taking physical inventory of all items in distribution lines as well as back stock item.    

•    Sanitation - Sanitation involves performing cleaning duties to maintain cleanliness and hygiene to the facility.    

•    Distribution - Working directly with impacted ʻohana to help meet their identified needs.

Talk Story with Mayor Bissen

Lahaina and Kula residents who have been impacted by the August fires are invited to talk story with Mayor Richard Bissen. There are several dates to choose from. Each talk story session will welcome up to 30 residents to give folks a chance to share mana‘o and ask questions.
