County Volunteer Center invites volunteer leaders to in-person networking session Jan. 27

HandsOn Maui, the County of Maui Volunteer Center, is inviting nonprofit and government volunteer program leaders from across Maui County to a Volunteer Peer Networking Session on Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2026, from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the J. Walter Cameron Center Auditorium in Wailuku.

This free interactive session offers an opportunity for volunteer leaders to step away from day-to-day responsibilities and focus on what’s possible for the year ahead. Through guided prompts and dyad-style peer discussions, participants will connect with colleagues who understand the challenges and opportunities of leading volunteers in Maui County.

Attendees will identify areas of untapped potential within their volunteer programs, explore ways to refresh processes and energize volunteer teams, generate new ideas and small experiments to improve volunteer engagement, and receive feedback from peers facing similar challenges.

The session will be facilitated by Diane Parnes, volunteer management consultant and former executive director of HandsOn Bay Area.

Nonprofit and government volunteer leaders must RSVP in advance at ttps://tinyurl.com/yc8d27uh  or www.handsonmaui.galaxydigital.com.
