Housing Financial Assistance Resources: 

  • Makai Foundation - for those with unmet needs and falling through the cracks in the system; ie. kūpuna, those with health challenges, multi-generational households, those who lost family members, etc.
  • U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), through Federal Housing Administration, extended foreclosure moratorium for borrowers with FHA-insured mortgages in Maui County, HI through August 4, 2024, to help homeowners impacted by 2023 wildfires.
